Dunoon Community Development Trust
Dunoon is a coastal town on the Clyde estuary. Dunoon Community Development Trust (DCDT) has been established to support sustainable development. As a coastal community this includes the protection of the marine environment and coastal biodiversity. Over the past few years, we have been developing a greater understanding of how to protect our local marine environment and have supported beach cleans and research around the management of the shingle beach in the town centre at West Bay.
DCDT was established with the support of SURF, Scotland’s Regeneration Forum and works in partnership with Argyll and Bute Council to support and inform the regeneration of the town in alignment with the goal of sustainable development
