Fisherrow Harbour & Seafront Association
Established in 2019 to give local organisations a stronger voice, the Fisherrow Harbour & Seafront Association is a small community-based charity run by trustees, who are the main volunteers, and supported by our members. We all care about the sea, coastline and infrastructure around our local area, and strive to protect and celebrate it.
Fisherrow harbour is located in the west of Musselburgh, the largest settlement in East Lothian, and has a long fishing history and strong cultural heritage. As a community we have long had concerns about water quality and a lack of support for restoration of marine and coastal habitats in the area, and have been campaigning for a number of years to see improvements.
