The Eigg Environmental Action Group is a community group based on the Isle of Eigg. EEAG’s core projects include opposing proposals for a local fish farm, monthly beach cleans and promoting awareness about marine pollution.

The isle of Eigg is the second largest of the small isles, within the Small Isles Nature Conservation Marine Protected Area (MPA) – home to the UK’s only known colony of rare fan mussels.  This is one of Scotland’s most diverse and valuable seabed habitats.
